Chocolate Sandwich Cookies

Ingredients

2 boxesdevil's food cake mix
4 eaeggs
2/3 cupoil
1 8 oz pkgcream cheesesoftened
3 to 4 cupspowdered sugar
1 tspvanilla
Recipe Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix together dry cake mix, eggs, and oil.
Form into 1-inch balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets, flatten slightly.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes. Do NOT over bake.
FILLING:
Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla together and fill cooled cookies.
This makes a lot of filling, unless you like your cookies really stuffed, cut this in half.
At Christmas time you can use peppermint extract in place of the vanilla and tint the filling red and green.
